Often, many of our patients shared stories of their experience of dry needling by their Chiropractors, Osteopaths, M.D. Doctors, Physiotherapists, and even Massage Therapists.
Through our research, we have discovered that the qualifications for the conduct and practice of this therapy are often short, and lacking extensive training. There are claims of the therapeutic value for dry needling, however, more research is needed. Given that the modality is relatively new, with its earliest record in Janet G Travell's book in 1984, there are very little known experts in this field.
